Update - June 2013

Can you believe June is already half over? What's even harder to believe is that Kenzie will be FOUR in just 3 1/2 months! I wish time would slow down just a little, it's insane how fast days just fly by.

Kenzie is such an incredible little girl. She is growing beautifully and is so smart. She is a little ball of energy that never stops. She loves going to school and has a best friend, Lorenza. Kenzie is also proving to be quite the little fish! She was starting to do well last summer in the pool, but this summer she's kickin' stronger and faster! She still wears her floaties, but she swims all over the pool. From the steps in the shallow end, to the deepest part of the deep end... and back.

John now has his own HVAC business, HJK Maintenance, LLC. He works with his buddies still at M.E. Controls and keeps very busy. When he's not working commercial HVAC, he's helping friends and family with residential HVAC. I am so proud of him and how hard he works. He's truly a wonderful husband, father, and person. I'm very grateful to have him and wouldn't trade him for anything :)

I'm doing well, too! Just working and keeping busy with mommy stuff and housework.

Here are some fun pictures!

San Diego 2013

We took a quick trip to San Diego back in April, and we had a blast! Kenzie had been begging to build castles in the sand at the beach for months, so I searched GroupOn. It didn't take long, I found a terrific deal and John told me to book it. I made the reservation just weeks before we went, it was so exciting! (Usually we book vacations months in advance).

We stayed at the Bahia Hotel, which is a beautiful hotel with incredible staff. I highly recommend it! Our patio faced the bay, in just 10 feet our toes were in the ocean! The weather was beautiful, we were able to visit with family and some great friends, and the best part was seeing the excitement in Kenzie's sweet face. It was hard to pack up and leave, but we're hoping for more trips this year.

I loved relaxing with my babe!

Mineer Family Update

Hey everyone!

I know it's been awhile since I've updated the blog, and for that I apologize! However, we've been super busy and having loads of fun! So I'm not really that sorry ;)

We had a great Easter, but sad we weren't able to see everyone we had hoped! Aunt Nelle, Grandma Deane... we missed you guys! As well as anyone else who didn't get to the Easter egg hunt at Becky's. It was fun! Kenzie was too cute running around picking up every OTHER egg she stumbled upon. The biggest hit were the balloons. She would blow them up and let them fly!

Everything else in the Mineer family home is going well. We're working hard, playing harder, and enjoying every stubborn second with our little three year old. She's a princess, that's for sure! Everything is pink, tea parties, princess, barbies, and flowers. If she can twirl around, she's a happy little girl.

She is her mother's daughter with the attitude, but she's a big-time daddy's girl. She and John are adorable together, and I'm so happy I get to see all those sweet moments.

We're heading out to San Diego next weekend. Kenzie has been begging to build castles on the "beesh"! Stay tuned for that blog post :)

Love to all!

Pretty little princess.

And they're off!

Even John got to hunt for eggs :)

Hole in the Rock - Another Weekend Hike

Every weekend we take Kenzie out and go for a hike. She loves it! This past weekend we did Hole in the Rock, not very big, but still so fun! Papago park has a great little park and many trails to walk and enjoy the desert scenery!

Trip Sans Kenzie

John and I were able to sneak up to Sedona for a night to celebrate our 4 year anniversary without Kenzie (thank-you mom!). It was snowing, so we decided to take a hike! It was a beautiful quick little trip that we both very much enjoyed.

I had to make a little snowman :)
